What is Youth Career Training?

 

Youth Career Training offers high school juniors and seniors opportunities to prepare for a career while in high school. The program is a rigorous training system that combines on the job training with academic and technical instruction. High School students are trained at the workplace by skilled mentors and receive wages while they are performing their on the job training. “EARN WHILE YOU LEARN”.

The staff of NATF has worked with employers for over 20 years administering youth career training programs. This program enables your company to provide paid training positions for high school students located in your geographical area. This program is approved by the Arkansas Department of Career Education and in some occupations the program is certified through the U. S. Department of Labor, Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training.
