ASU—Herber Springs Plumbing
About
The ASU-Heber Springs Plumbing Apprenticeship Program is a four-year program and is taught on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6-9 p.m.. for 160 hours per year. These classes meet at the Latimer Center at 71 Cleburne Park Road, Heber Springs, Arkansas. This program was designed by the Heber Springs Plumbing Apprenticeship Committee and approved by the Department of Career Education’s state apprenticeship office.
The state of Arkansas requires that a person working in the plumbing field must either have a journeyman or master plumber’s license or be enrolled in an approved plumbing apprenticeship program and working towards that goal. To qualify for the plumbing apprenticeship program, students must be employed by a master or journeyman plumber and gaining 2000 on-the-job training hours per year.
